I’m a visual artist grounded in paper cutting and stencil making. My work is informed in part by the microcosmic beauty of fractals, and also culled from a deep well of symbolism, images, and dreams. My studio work centers around large animalistic cut-outs, masks, more figurative multiple-layer stencils, and  prints comprised of cut-outs, stencils, and ink.

I use my artistic practice as a vehicle to express my expanding belief that creativity is the wellspring of the divine within us, and that through its exploration we take part inevitably in something larger than the work we make or the singular lives we live. In so doing, we give a little nod to something beautiful, ancient, wild, and robust, and it tends to nod back.
